Dr. Kaiafas was born and raised in northwest Indiana. He received his undergraduate degree at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 1989, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
He attended Medical School at Indiana University Indianapolis and graduated in 1993. He did his Internship at St.Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis and finished his Anesthesiology Residency at Indiana University Indianapolis in 1997. He then completed a Pain Management Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati in 1998.
Dr. Kaiafas moved back to northwest Indiana where he worked at the Centers for Pain Management in Merrillville, Indiana.
Dr. Kaiafas joined Clearwater Pain Management Associates in January 2001. His hobbies include golf, cooking, music and travel.
